SlantSleep - Blocks for single beds,
for example, if the inclined sleeping slats are not practicable....
They already sleep enthusiastically at home in an inclined position and
- don't want to do without it on holiday?
- have to temporarily move out of the beloved double bed with sloping sleep slats into a single bed?
- ...
Or you cannot equip your bedstead with sloping slats, because, for example, the slatted frame cannot be removed?
For these and many other cases, there may be a solution if
- it is a bed without a bed base
- the bed does not have a centre support with additional support feet
- the bed stands on feet
- the bed is on runners
- the bed has stable corner connections
- the bed is not on castors
- there is nothing else that speaks against placing blocks at the head end
We supply these blocks made of the relatively light spruce with a sanded, raw surface.
So you can apply your desired colour yourself if required or simply treat it with natural oil for protection.
We only use dry solid spruce construction timber (KVH) with an original 12 x 12cm cross-section as the basic material.
NOTE: Solid wood in these dimensions can show drying cracks, loose knots and sometimes imperfections in the surface.
These are natural properties typical of wood that do not impair the function in any way and therefore do not justify a complaint.
Content per set:
- 2 spruce logs in selected height, about 12 x 12 cm (WxD) with matching bevel cut at the top.
- 4 "Slip Inhibitors" made of high-quality PU-bonded secondary rubber granulate to be placed directly under the bed feet (i.e. at the head end please on the blocks)
