Natural rubber
Natural rubber, known to many as "(natural) latex", is extracted from the milk of the tropical "natural rubber tree" Hevea brasiliensis. It is a sustainable product from controlled plantation management. Due to its special molecular structure, natural rubber has a unique climatic and ergonomic functionality and can therefore adapt to the human anatomy more perfectly than synthetic materials, such as foams.Natural rubber has a temperature-balancing and antibacterial effect. However, not all latex is the same. For example, 6 - 10 times more energy is used to produce synthetic latex than natural rubber. Only QUL-certified raw materials provide assurance of purity and rubber-milk content.
